This is a club with a history. We were originally known as the Edinburgh Gas Lapidary Club, formed in July 1971, and our first clubroom opened in August 1972. The club moved to Leith Links in 1982 and in 1995 we changed our name to the Leith Lapidary Club. In August 2014 we had to move again and are now situated in St Margaret’s House at Meadowbank.
The club maintains a membership of around 60-70 individuals of all ages with an interest in lapidary, enamelling, small scale metalwork and silver jewellery.
We have an annual Open Day in May and participate in events organised by St Margaret’s House.
